Edward Honaker est un photographe talentueux âgé de 21 ans basé en Californie. Deux ans plus tôt, le jeune homme a été diagnostiqué comme souffrant de dépression. Afin de combattre ce mal et d’encourager les autres, l’artiste a décidé d’exprimer son expérience et ses ressentis par le biais d’auto-portraits en noir et blanc au traité surréaliste.

The ZONES project was launched in 2015 by Franco-Hungarian photographer Pol Kurucz and the kolor art collective. ZONES are photo series each defined by a distinctive design and message. The shootings took place in the collective's studio in the heart of Rio de Janeiro, in apocalyptic suburban junkyards, palaces and other epic locations. ZONES is inspired by actual social issues, Brazil’s underground drag scene, local fashion designers and artists. Featuring models, celebrities and actors have also heavily influenced the conception of characters and scenes. Mixed with Pol’s theatrical aesthetics, the consistent use of provocation and contrast, the result is a consciously disharmonious samba of glamour and trash. Central to the collective’s principles is questioning normality and exposing the dangers of forced conformity. Pol comes from a multi-minority family and has always had an inner urge to speak against dogmas, preconception, majority bias, something he shares with his collective of local artists and art producers.

Studio Feixen is an independent Design Studio based in Lucerne, Switzerland that creates visual concepts. We focus specifically on nothing in particular. Whether it’s graphic design, interior design, fashion design, type design or animation – as long as it challenges us – we are interested. We work internationally with clients like Nike, Google, Reebok or The New York Times as well as more locally with institutions like Wanderlust or the Nuits Sonores Festival in France, Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Südpol or the Luzerner Theater.

chiara mazzocchi captures inner processes through self-portrayals
italian photographer, director and performer chiara mazzocchi’s artistic research is conceptually humanistic. her work explores performance and visuals through conscious inner processes. therefore, using her SLR camera in manual mode, she chooses to work on herself by capturing photographic or video self-portraits.
