Pentagram a été fondé le 12 Juin 1972, à Londres par les designers Fletcher Alan, Colin Forbes,
Theo Crosby, Kenneth Grange et Mervyn Kurlansky.
Pour le 40e anniversaire, les 19 partenaires actuels de Pentagram,
sous la direction artistique de Harry Pearce, ont conçu une série d'affiches reflétant chaque année passée.
