Inspired by the Edward Gorey classic, this black-comedy for kids and parents alike is a hilarious and brutal alphabet of death and mayhem exacted upon animals by ignorant humans. 30 CGI animals were meticulously crafted and killed by a team of 44 students at Media Design School.

Last September revered hip hop auteurs Run The Jewels made music history when they unleashed the world’s first cat-rap album Meow The Jewels. Today, in conjunction with Adult Swim, the group released a mind-altering video by esteemed cult video artist Cyriak for the album’s lead track “Meowpurrdy,” a remix by El-P that deposits his and Killer Mike’s vocal performances in the midst of a rhythmic vapor of meows, purrs, and hisses. Cyriak’s visual treatment is an LSD-nightmare miasma of cat limbs and teeth fractalizing into feline Cthulu-esque monstrosities

Flesh and Bones
Je vous propose de découvrir les étranges sculptures organiques de l’artiste américain Russel Cameron, basé à Brooklyn, qui imagine des créatures surréalistes faites d’os et de chair. Des créations très réalistes et dérangeantes réalisées avec beaucoup de détails, qui provoquent un mélange de révulsion et de fascination malsaine. Je vous invite aussi à jeter un œil à son compte Instagram, où vous pourrez découvrir ses créatures en mouvement. Un travail qui rappelle également les sculptures de l’artiste Jason Briggs.

Le projet Food Not Food reprend des plats et des boissons classiques et les recrée à l’aide d’objets du quotidien. Ici, un burger en éponge ou des macarons en capsules de bière. Là, des nouilles en ficelle ou un sandwich fait avec un bouchon en liège à la place du pain. Un concept amusant et créatif, fruit de l’imagination de l’américaine Kristina Lechner.
