Bruce Lee Lightsabers Scene Recreation

Patrick Nan

So I saw an image of Bruce Lee with Lightsabers and decided to create a scene recreation of Fist of Fury (1972) with Lightsabers. I finally found the creator, Ameeeeba, of the fan art: https://ameeeeba.deviantart.com/art/B...

NIKE.

Artiste : ADAM NIKLEWICZ

Niklewicz’s work thrives on surprise and plays with de-contextualization. The objects of his attention are quite ordinary. These are tables, chairs, plates and a host of other items that have a role to play in the network of daily experiences that define the practical world. Niklewicz stands back and assumes a detached view of the objects attempting to discover new and secret aspects of reality by making obvious things odd and finding playful qualities along with clear and palpable symbolism. Such contemplative detachment translates into absurd situations suspended of practicality but with healthy dose of irony and humor – all communicated through mediums ranging from sculpture, video, installation and conceptual photography.

About me

I began my adult life sensibly enough by studying French and Italian at the University of Cambridge and the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris, then horrified my parents by deciding to be a photographer.
The best summary of what I do is 'storytelling with a side order of off-beat creativity'. Dynamite fishing? Check. Live butterflies flying out of people's mouths? Check. A railway line merging into a zipper? Check. A crocodile attacking Lacoste sneakers? Yup, that too.
Clients around the world choose me to create advertising and editorial images and films of people on location or in studio. Over the last few years I've also shot diptychs matching aerial images with fashion still life for brands including Pepe Jeans, Lacoste and Missoni.
So far I've produced still and moving images on location, in studio, from helicopters, boats and cranes, underwater and up mountains. If you have a challenge, I'd love to offer a creative solution.

The practical details

I work with amazing post-production and CGI studios, stylists, hair/makeup artists, casting directors, location finders, animal handlers and production managers, and I can source people to coordinate all elements of a shoot.
I spent several years living in Paris and I'm English/French bilingual. I still work regularly in Paris and I'm comfortable organising productions in France and elsewhere on the continent.
When I'm not travelling I'm based in London, and spend most of my free time thinking up more ideas to turn into images.

The organic and ultra-colorful photographs of Maisie Cousins

A selection of photographs by the British artist Maisie Cousins, who takes us into an organic and ultra-colorful world, exploring sexuality, the human body, our impulses and our relationship to nature. Dripping, oozing, sticky and disturbing, the photographs of Maisie Cousins are raw and highly symbolic. An impressive work to discover on her portfolio or her Instagram account. I just love it.
